All participants will receive a stipend of $3700 that will be paid upon arrival to cover housing, food, books, costs of the three-day fieldtrip, and other costs. We have closely estimated costs to be paid by participants from the participant stipend. The total amount of expenses may vary. Costs which participants are expected to pay from the individual stipend of $3,700 are: airfare, housing ($1,120 plus 8% tax), administrative fees ($207), food service ($1,050), books and materials ($200), field trip to Neah Bay (food and lodging - $175). We will ask participants to pay in advance (when they arrive) for housing, food, fees if any, and the Neah Bay field trip.
