Bright, calm, with large windows facing the hidden courtyard of a typically parisian building On the ground floor, this smartly furnished apartment offers simple comfort that makes you feel at home right away. Near the Gare de l'Est and the Gare du Nord, easily accessible to the all points in Europe Close to both bus and metro stops, and no more than a half-hour stroll to Beaubourg, the Marais, Montmartre Not far from the center of the city, away from the crowds of tourists, the 10th arrondissement is a picturesque section of Paris celebrated by poets like Jacques Prévert. Known to Parisians as a place that is on the move, cultural life here flourishes. Recently, many artists and fashion designers have relocated to the neighborhood. It is also a particularly cosmopolitan area enriched by the presence of many international communities.

The apartment features a bright, light birch parquet floor, a loft bed under which storage space is provided for clothes and luggage. Television and VCR are provided. A couch in the sitting area can serve as another double bed. Two small desks, a large, sturdy table, four dining room chairs make for a pleasant place to work and dine.

The open kitchen is newly installed, all electric, with oven, stove, and washing machine. The bathroom has a tub with a shower.

Paris is not just the Seine; it also has the Canal Saint Martin with its locks and romantic pathways designed by Gustave Eiffel, and just around the corner here. A good place for strolling, with its bordering green trees and parks, the canal leads all the way to Bastille. Up north in the opposite direction it takes you to Parc de la Villette and the Cité des Sciences. At the other end of the short street is great shopping with all the charming shops like, for example, Madame Yvette in her famous bakery. Gastronomy is rich: from the cheap working-class restaurant to high French cuisine to Indian cantines. Try the special ambiance "parigotte" of "Chez Maurice, rue des Vinaigriers. Numerous brasseries surround the Gare de l'Est. Le bar aux vins "Les vignes Saint Laurent" in the rue Saint Laurent is irresistible. Then there is the theater world on the Grands Boulevards, Paris' Broadway. Fashionable clubs such as "La casa 128", rue La Fayette feature latin music and "La Java", rue du Faubourg du Temple, has preserved its turn-of-the-century décor. Have a drink on the terrace on the place Sainte Marthe, in the neighborhood of the same name. On the many markets in the arrondissement you find "exotic" neighborhoods.
