Society Islands Geo Group Covenant

We will continue to equally share all decision making about program activities and goals. Sally has primary responsibility for the web workshops, the program budget, and room assignments. Jin has primary responsibility for films and practicum sessions, and the farewell party. We will share equally the Geo Cluster Seminars. We will plan the Documentation Kit together. We will exchange student evaluation material as needed by February 9.

As faculty, we will carefully monitor our GeoClusters, and we will complete all Documentation Kit assignments and develop our own research interest. We will stay in touch with members of our own Geo Cluster to encourage and support from afar. We will each have a mid-trip [about March 15] check-in with each member of our Geo Cluster, and other correspondence as necessary. We will check our email several times each week.

As a Geo Group, we agree to complete the readings for seminars on January 22 and 29 and February 5. We will collaborate and design our Geo Group web page.
As travelers, we will help each other cope with the logistics for travel, including health issues, visas, bookings, and the list of books and card games to bring. We will be open minded, curious, kind and as self conscious as possible. At all times we will try to keep our sense of humor, and apply sunblock and mosquito repellent daily. We will be sensitive to each others’ needs for serenity and time alone, and be honest with each other about our needs, worries and questions.
We agree to be back and ready to work April 26.
