WEEK SEVEN, NOV 11, Joe Feddersen
Joe Feddersen has shown extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest
for two decades. Froelick Gallery will present a survey of his
prints since 1990 in February 2007. He has had solo exhibits at
the George Gustav Heye Center in New York, NY and his recent group
shows range from the Sixth Triennial Small Print Exhibition , Chamalieres,
France to New Art of the West, Eiteljorg Museum, Indianapolis.
Feddersen was a visiting artist at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma,
WA, as part of their Summer Hot Shop Artists Series in 2005.
His glass baskets are reviewed in Matthew Kangas' new book Craft
and Concept: The Rematerialization of the Art Object.
Joe Feddersen's work is held in an impressive array of corporate,
public, and private collections from the U.S. State Department
to The Smithsonian Institution.
