For a short period of time Cambrigesoft is offering a limited version of ChemDraw (ChemDraw Ltd 9.0) free for students. Contact Jim for the web address and the discount code. They do this periodically for various version of their software and typicall these discount codes are good for one month. This version is typically priced at $190.

This Saturday Night-April 12-has a neat opportunity to see marine life. People for Puget Sound are inviting you to a "pier peer" - a waterproof light will be put in the water at Boston Harbon Marina to observe nocturnal sea creatures and those attracted to light. The Washington State Lake Protection Association has two scholarships available for students interested in environmental studies. The deadline is soon-April 15-but so far there are no applicants. Check out the site at http://www.walpa.org/scholarship.htm for more information.
