The CCC Media Group

The Index of Non-Commercial and Alternative Media is the result of a collaborative effort by Evergreen State College students Jeff Lucero, Jean Eberhardt, Glen Phillips, Rie Konishi and Alexandra Espindola.

This group project is a requirement of the Community, Communications and Computers Program taught by professors Rebecca Chamberlain and Doug Schuler. Since part of the program focuses on media and how it relates to the Internet, Rebecca and Doug thought it would be a good idea for groups of students to develop a periodical to understand many of the theoretical and practical concepts at a deep level.

The CCC Media Group decided on a comprehensive index of alternative media internet sites that would not only be educational in context, but useful to the community at large.
