Boarding the Alps
I carted our very heavy bulky boards to Switzerland (ugh!), and luckily we had a chance to use them! It took a while for the snow to start coming, but once it did it was awesome. The funny thing about Europeans (generalization of course) is that they LOVE the groomed yucky icy runs and don't ski the powder... which of course just meant more for us! These shots are from 2 spots in the Alps: Jakobshorn (in Davos), and Jungfrau (land of powder). Some of the photos look a little wonky because the camera doesn't do so well in the cold temperatures (and it WAS cold!)... or maybe it was just all that lovely dreamy powder :)
