Sydney - One of the most beautiful cities I've seen!
I arrived into Sydney early on Thursday am (after leaving Tuesday night... very strange that international dateline thing!), and off to the hostel I went. I arrived at the same time as Sandra (my first of many German friends abroad - not sure how the country survives with so much of its population away!), and so we checked out the city life together. We stayed in the heart of the town at Darling Harbor (pronouned Dahhhhling haber), and everything was within walking distance, including the Botanical Gardens (which I was actually quite stoked on - plenty of invasives and noisy cockatoos), the Opera House, 'the bridge', Circular Quay, etc. We also took a boat around the harbour over to the western Burbs, visited the Taronga Zoo, and swam near Bondi Beach. As I've said before, Australian winter is definitely my kind of winter!!!
