Requirements:
1. Only one book per author
2. 1/2 male and 1/2 female protagonists
3. Protagonist ages: maximum of 10 can be between ages 11-14, the majority should be between ages 14-20. If the protagonist is YOUNGER than 11, or OLDER than 20 it’s not adolescent!
4. At least 10 must be *honor books, or some notable award
5. Must have an even distribution of protagonists that are: Native American, Latino, Asian, African American, Jewish, European American
6. Must have protagonists that represent: homosexual, religions other than Judaism or Christianity, disability
7. Representatives per genre:
Mystery, Horror, Supernatural
Romance, Western, Sports, Adventure
Fantasy, Science Fiction
Historical, Biography, Nonfiction
