The Evergreen Bike Shop

Bike Shop Pict. The bike shop is located in the basement of the CAB building (take the elevator because there aren't any stairs).

We are here to provide a space for people to work on bikes, and to educate themselves about alternative transportation. We have the help and the tools you need to fix that bike of yours up.

If your interested in volunteering come on in and talk to us (no experience needed, we'll get you up to speed in no time).

You can contact us by calling (360)866-6000 ext. 6399.

Or dial us directly by calling (360)867-6399

You can also join our mailing list. It has yet to be used, so you won't have to worry about getting a lot of extra email.

Check out our Winter Quarter Workshop schedule

Workshops are weekly on Wednesdays at 3 p.m.

February Vounteer of the Month!

Micah Cote

How long have you been working with bikes?

Since I got my first flat tire. Somewhere between 10 and 15 years.

Really?

Yeah.

What started your interesting bikes?

When I wanted to be going a little bit faster than I could run, I wasn't old enough to have a car…I started with bikes basically taking bikes that weren't bmx. Road bikes of small size..taking off jumps and beating the hell out of them.. had to find out how to ride them back home afterwards.

Self taught…taking apart and putting back together.

What interested you in volunteering at the bike shop?

I was here all the time anyway, and I couldn't order anything…

What classes/programs you taking?

I'm alumni. Graduated last spring. When I was a student I took every science class that had to do with chemistry.

What interests do you have outside of bikes and bike repair?

Playing with 2-d black and white drawing art that looks 3-d. MC Escher. Archery. Renaissance resurgence stuff and juggling.

*For anyone who tried to email the bikeshop over the last few years, sorry we didn't respond. We didn't know we had an email address!
