Since 2002, the Evergreen State College Foundation has been investing donations made to the school in the University of Washington’s Consolidated Endowment Fund (CEF). The CEF is a mega fund, managing approximately 1.4 billion dollars and over 1,900 separate endowments, mostly from the University of Washington’s own schools and programs.
Due to its huge size—the fund has over 60 different managers—the divestment campaign is having a difficult time even getting a list of companies that the CEF invests in. The 11 companies managing domestic and international equity (e.g. stocks) are:

In theory, the University of Washington should be able to contact these 11 companies, at the request of the Evergreen State College Foundation, and find out where exactly the Consolidated Endowment Fund is invested.
Currently, the Olympia CAT Campaign is drafting a resolution demanding transparency of these investments. The Members Evergreen State College Foundation Board of Governors have already admitted that the Evergreen Endowment is invested in Caterpillar through holdings in index funds.
