For six years, Students Educating Students About the Middle East (SESAME) at The Evergreen State College has sponsored the only Middle East Film Festival in the South Puget Sound area. This little known festival offers our community a unique opportunity to experience the art of filmmaking originating from the Middle East and surrounding regions.This year’s film festival, “Roots and Realities of Occupation,” is dedicated to the children of Gaza.
