in Slightly West, they are, in fact, strongly encouraged to do so.

Please send a copy (no originals) of your prose, poetry, visual art or translations to

Or slip it in the drop box in Student Activities labled "Slightly West Submissions"

Accompanying your submissions, please include a cover letter that indicates

your name
the titles of your submissions
your contact information
and -if possible-
the classification of your submissions (prose? poetry? visual art?)

On the pieces themselves, include the title, but please leave off your name.

Visual Art Submissions must be reproducable in black and white, because we do not print in color. Along with a cover letter, these submissions must also include a print as well as a digital scan of your piece(s). The digital scan must be on a CDrom and be set as a JPEG file.

Slightly West does not accept any work that has not been proofread or is late.

Submissions may be made by e-mail, but we will still require a cover letter.

The submission deadline for this year is Week two of the Winter Quarter.
