My life in 400 words or less
I currently reside in Olympia, Washington, but that has not always been the case. I grew up in a military family, so I have lived all over the country and world: Germany, Hawaii, California, Kansas, Kentucky, Virginia and Washington. My father retired from his command in 2001 and made Olympia our final home base.
I graduated from Olympia High School and went to Washington State University for three years. It was there as a Coug that I studied advertising and was involoved in several student organizations. I transferred to The Evergreen State College in search of a new learning style and philosophy. I continued my education focus in advertising and completed a ten-week marketing internship for my final full-term program. My internship was in Dallas, Texas working with a marketing team for a magazine owned by Gannett Publishing.
Working in advertising has been a goal of mine since my first marketing class in 1998. I have the experience, education and references to back my ambition of joining a creative team.
I don't think limitation awareness should be ever recognized. Im sure I have some, somewhere, but I really don't care to find mine anytime soon. Besides, if I go full speed ahead, I pretty much blast down any walls, and those that don't budge, I ricochet off into a new, limitless direction. Limitation? Never. Liberation is all I know.
