                This is the revision of the previous spring quarter milestones document.  Our project scope has been redefined, and as a result, so must our milestones.

-          All necessary back-end functionality completed.

-          Outliner GUI component interfaced with back-end (simultaneous update).

-          Basic Outliner functionality completed (add, remove, move, rename).

-          Changes made in Outliner GUI can be saved to XML and reloaded later.

April 29th (Mon. of Week 5)

-          Outliner component completed (only minor alterations needed).

-          Mapper component reads data from back-end and can display it.

-          Integration of global program features (Project Open, Close, Save, Quit; components linked under one main system, one window).

-          Testing suite developed for back-end and Outliner components.

-          Web applet prototype completed (proof that Sphinx project can work as a web applet on Blink site).

May 13th (Mon. of Week 7)

-          Mapper allows movement of nodes, creation of links, and updates back-end data with changes made to it.

-          Mapper integrated with Outliner so that they mirror one another in output.

-          Testing suite developed for Mapper component.

-          Both components are fully integrated under main application, and can send messages to one another.

-          Web applet version of Sphinx system will run online.

(Fri. of Week 8)

     ??

-          Node tree drawing algorithm in Mapper refined – can display tree vertically or horizontally.  Component complete.

-          Application is fully tested and complete.
