Issue 15: Re-scope
project, re-define minimum deliverables with Kelly.
Status: We meet with
Kelly. They were hoping for a working tool that they could use in their office.
A proof-of-concept is not going to be useful for them because they do not
intend to contract this out to be developed. Since it doesn’t look like a
working application is feasible at this time, Kelly suggested that we shift
our focus to developing an Applet that they can post on their web site for
visitors to play with to get a better understanding of what BlinkIA does.
This does not need to have “save” capabilities, and does not need to have
a “Wireframe” component. The map portion does not need to be dynamic, and
the depth & breadth of the Outliner can be limited. Kelly will send documentation
for us to evaluate to help redefine the overall scope of the project.
Over
the week the guys have been thinking about this and they have decided that
they would like to continue to develop the desktop version. Geoff and Steve
have committed to continuing the project into the summer pending some sort
of agreement with Kelly.
Issue 16: Need to set
up a regular procedure for setting & evaluating milestones.
Status: Geoff is
now supplying milestones in emailable format. We will evaluate and discuss
milestones as a team during Fridays meeting. In our meeting with Kate we identified
tasks and made estimates. Randy created document reflecting results of meeting.
Issue 18: Time to think
about integration again. Need to work Steve's accomplishments into the Milestone
Overview.
Issue 19: Team meeting
times (revisited). We should plan to work as a team Monday, Wednesday, Friday,
& Saturday. Need to identify times that work for everybody.
