Who Am I?
I am a fultime faculty member at The Evergreen State College where I've been teaching since 1998. As with most faculty at this interdisciplinary college, my teaching varies. Initially, I taught several programs in the area of management. Gradually, my interests shifted to teaching mostly leadership. Lately, my spring quarters have entailed teaching leadership in boat-based programs. Other interests and areas where I work with students also include women's studies, including midwifery (I am a volunteer doula in Olympia), dance movement, cultural diversity, and guiding students in creating their own business plans.
