Black; pronotum, prosternum, and claws red. Head: densely punctate; keel between antennal bases; medial sulcus absent; frons not projecting. Antennae: segments similar to each other; segment I transverse, slightly longer than II, punctate; II transverse; III longer than I; IV-X transverse, decreasing in length; XI rounded at apex, subequal in length to I. Pronotum: transverse; arched; disc with scattered, oval punctures, large medial area smooth; sides sinuate, canaliculate; apical margin curved; anterior angles pointed, projecting; posterior angles acute. Scutellum: triangular; smooth. Elytra: wider than base of pronotum; sides margined, almost parallel; apices cojointly rounded; sutural angle sharp; rows of punctures convergent and unite at apex, except rows 1 and 10; rows 2-5 weakly punctate beyond middle; row 8-10 almost striate; side margins finely toothed; nearly impunctate at humeri. Venter: epipleuron wide, smooth; prosternum reddish, punctate; meso- and metasterna black, punctate at sides, smooth in middle; abdominal sterna 1 and 2 not fused in middle; 1-3 punctate laterally; 4-5 setose; 5 broadly emarginate at apex, with small notch in middle; pygidium keeled. Legs: femora punctate; tibiae have setae on inner side, punctate. Total length: 4.0-4.4 mm.
