Cephaloleia exigua Uhmann

Head, pronotum, scutellum, and legs reddish, elytra metallic blue; eyes and antennae (except 1st segment) dark. Head: impunctate; eyes dark; medial sulcus absent; frons not projecting. Antennae: segment I short, transverse; II transverse, longer than I; III as long as I and II combined; IV-X cylindrical, decreasing in length; XI pointed at apex. Pronotum: as wide as base of elytra; wider than long; arched; sparse, scattered punctures; sides margined, canaliculate, convergent from base to apex, anterior angles toothed; posterior angles oblique. Scutellum: broadly triangular; metallic blue. Elytra: metallic blue; margins toothed; narrowly margined; humeri produced; rows of punctures moderately impressed; convex; apices cojointly rounded. Venter: pro- and metasterna reddish; metasternum and abdomen darker. Legs: light yellowish-brown; femora dark at apex; tibiae with fringe of setae at apex. Total length: 2.9-4.2 mm.
