Euprionota Guérin 1844:278.

Head: vertex with four longitudinal sulci. Antennae: 8-segmented, I-VII short, slightly flattened; VIII broader, flattened; reach to middle of elytra. Pronotum: transverse; side margins sinuate, narrows anteriorly; basal margin as wide as base of elytra. Elytra: expanded apically; side and apical margins strongly denticulate, teeth alternatively large and small on apex; tricostate, 1 strong, entire, more elevated at base.
