Homalispa gracilis Baly

Hispinae, Chrysomelidae, Coleoptera, Insecta, Arthropoda, Animalia


Elongate-oval; reddish-yellow; antennae (except segment I), eyes, scutellum and apical half of elytra dark. Antennae: half the length of the body; filiform; segments cylindrical; segment I reddish, remainder black. Pronotum: transverse, convex; lateral margins nearly straight, scarcely converging from base to apex; anterior angles produced, obtuse; apical margin truncate; disc smooth, impunctate; impressed at sides, with few punctures laterally. Scutellum: black. Elytra: oblong; punctate-striate; apices rounded. Total length: 5.6 mm.
