Profile

 

Leah Hole-Curry is a consulting attorney with Fox Systems, Inc.  She has outstanding experience interpreting public sector contracting and HIPAA regulations.  Ms. Hole-Curry currently provides subject matter expert consulting services to clients throughout the United States.  She provides technical assistance, policy and deliverable review for key state and local HIPAA projects and has developed nationally-recognized assessment documents.

Leah holds a B.A. from the The Evergreen State College, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law.   She has a broad background in administrative and contract law.

Leah has been a key presenter on HIPAA regulations and impacts in government and privately sponsored HIPAA Orientation Seminars, State Technical Advisory Groups, National Seminars, Public Health Organizations, Hospital Association Meetings, and Regional Health Care Alliance Forums.

Previous to her consulting position, Leah worked for the Washington State Agencies and in private practice.  For the Department of Social and Health Services, she was the DSHS legal authority for the HIPAA regulations, where she was responsible for department-wide technical assistance, policy development, executive and stakeholder briefing, and tool development .  Leah also served as a contracts attorney for DSHS where she managed complex contracting projects from competive procurement through negotiation, as well as writing and reviewing contracts, and developing policy for contracting practices, specified legal areas, and risk management.   In private practice, Leah’s practice focus included administrative law, contracts and business formation and continuation issues, and debtor/creditor law.
