Hygrocybe conicus is closely related to Hygrophorus. The mushroom is small and its tendency to bruise black makes it unappetizing to me. However, some people have tried eating it and thus I can report that Hygrocybe conicus is fully capable of causing flu-like symptoms if consumed.
