Slide 25.
Ramaria formosa is shown in this slide by Kit Scates Barnhart. Ramaria formosa has a reputation as a poisonous species, capable of causing significant gastrointestinal distress. Orange-red branches with yellow tips and a brown bruising reaction characterize Ramaria formosa. Like virtually all Ramaria species, it turns cardboard color in age.
