Mycena aurantiidisca is one of many species of Mycena that are stunningly abundant in woodland areas. In terms of total numbers of specimens, I suspect that there are more Mycenas out there than any other fleshy fungi. Mycena species range in size from small to tiny and none are of any interest as edibles. As well as being a delight to the eye, the colorful ones like Mycena aurantiidisca are generally pretty easy to identify.
