Slide 18. Caloscypha fulgens is another one of the snowbank mushrooms fruiting soon after snow melt, typically under conifers. The dark green to olive-green or bluish stains readily distinguish this somewhat poisonous species from Aleuria aurantia, the orange-peel fungus. |
