Scutellina scutellata, The Eyelash Cup, is a tiny little mushroom that appears as red disks on decaying wood in the winter and spring. Examination with a hand lens reveals the beautiful eyelash-like hairs that line the edge of the tiny cups of Scutellina scutellata.
