Ramaria magnipes, Bigfoot or Golden Coral, is a common
and sometimes staggeringly abundant inland inhabitant of coniferous and
mixed woods in the spring and summer. It is edible. When found young with
short branches, it is a real prize. The base is large and fleshy with a
mild flavor.
