Gomphus floccosus also known as Cantharellus floccosus, the Woolly Chanterelle along with the two similar species Gomphus kauffmanii and Gomphus bonarii can cause vomiting, diarrhea, nausea and the onset can be delayed a few hours. Some people seek out and eat these two species without suffering ill effects. However, they are sometimes unpalatable and can be rather indigestible.
