Using the Virtual Atlas in the Classroom |
It is the hope of the creators of the Virtual Atlas of the Pacific Northwest that it will a useful resource for all educational levels. To aid in this goal, the following resources have been made available for your use. The lessons are aimed at a junior high audience, but can easily be modified to meet the needs of any grade level. Together they form a complete module, but can also be used separately without much modification. All lessons meet the Washington State Essential Academic Learning Requirements. They have been tested in the NOVA School in Lacey, Washington, where they were integrated into the regular classroom activities throughout the year. |
