The temperature is about 50 degrees.

I woke up this morning to rain.  We slept on a hill and water had collected at the bottom of the tent.  It got the bottom of Scott and mine's sleeping bags really wet.  Saw some deer tracks this morning.  Usually see those and horse tracks.  The sun seems to be coming up on the horizon.  Everyone is super tired, though I must say Scott is a huge trooper.  He had a fat monster blister on his big toe that he popped and cut and is walking on today.

We have stopped at Rosalia for a town tour.  It's a quaint little town.  I just ate a monstrous deluxe burger and I'm at this park on the swings.  So, I think I'll digress now and go play...

The temperature is about 60 degrees.

Around mile 8 or 9 we finally got into some new terrain.  It started out as just Ponderosa Pines that gave way to flatter hills and more deciduous trees.  There were these trees with White Oak that were just beginning to get their leaves.  So, I don't know what kind they were.  I tried looking in my book but it sucks.  So, we'll see.  Saw a dead rabbit on the trail today.  Can hear an owl every once in a while.  Every night so far I've heard frogs.  Saw some Balsam root -we think.  They are large yellow daisy-ish looking flowers.
