The temperature is about 65 degrees.
Coming into the town of Malden. So there are some small farms. It's mainly pine trees and small shrubs. There have been lots of little yellow shrubs that Cody thinks are Greys Desert Parsley.

The temperature is about 68 degrees.
I picked some lupin flowers and I'm drying them. At the beginning of todays trail we went through a small wetland. There were cattails and skunk weed. Other than that the vegetation is much the same. Went into the town of Malden and there wasn't even a store, though to be fair there was a Pepsi machine. I slit my finger open while playing with Brandy. We're going to get shuttled today for about 20 miles of the trail because it's closed, a trestle is out and it's private property.
