Temperature and Weather: 55 degrees, clear, windy and sunny
Habitat: Sagebrush and clump grass, linear leaf daisy and lupin. A wetter area with green grass and willow trees. Up ahead a few groves of trees and unsure what kind right now (Aspen?) It's a little less desert-like here - more low areas with green grass and trees.

Temperature and Weather: 75 degrees,sunny, windy and a few clouds
Habitat: Sagebrush, short grass, some tall shrubs, very dry, rocky. Earlier in firing range we went through much lupin, Oregon sunshine, balsam root, and a new yellow flower. Found lots of deer prints. Saw one owl near tunnel
