Habitat: Walked a few miles over the Yakima River. Cottonwood and willow trees, very green, surrounded by wetland areas, large cottonwood trees. Found 3 bird eggs in small nest on trail (white with black splotches.)
We got picked up and driven from Thorp through Cle Elum. This was the major changing point for habitat and ecosystem types. The desert/steppe changed into pine forests and mountains.
