Habitat:
Pine and evergreen trees, tall shrubs with small yellow flowers, arrow leaf balsam root and lupine in bloom.

Temperature and Weather:
About 70 degrees, overcast, sunny.
Habitat:
Pond-lots of cattails, small alder trees, new shoots of tall grass, small shrubs and bushes next to trail, lots of tall Ponderosa pine trees and other evergreen trees. Red-winged blackbirds, redcap berry bushes starting to grow. Tall cottonwood trees and some small vine maples. Lots of horsetail.

Habitat:
Young green grass, apple trees, cottonwood trees, aspen, pine. Green shrubs and bushes, lots of creeks. Found an interesting flower - mission bells or checker lilly (Fritillania lanceolata) Starting to see some in wetter areas. (Actually probably either hellebore or Indian hellebore, not sure.) Lots of little purple flowers, look sort of like small snapdragons-some kind of larkspur, I think.
