65 degrees; mostly cloudy, cool mountain breeze.
Habitat:
Many fast moving streams, different types of coniferous trees all over (except in clear cuts), cedar, douglas fir, some pines (Ponderosa, maybe white), western hemlock, maybe some spruce. Also alder, vine maple, cottonwood. Trillium, yellow violets, wild strawberries blooming, some purple flowers, moss on rocks, dandelions, garter snakes - 2 spotted last 2 days. Some small wetland areas near larger creeks. Passing through a lot of clear cuts - older and growing in.
