Habitat:
Western hemlock, cedar, douglas fir, alder, vine maple, red-cap (thimble berry), salmon berry, bracken fern, and sword fern, salal, devil's club. Saw some Indian paintbrush, forget-me-nots, and some small purple flowers growing in the rocks. The bushes are fuller and underbrush is more developed. Trillium no longer blooming. Salmon berries have green berries now. Still going over many cold, clear, fast-flowing streams. Rocky hillsides. Lot of second growth forest.
