My how simple. 5/22/2008 Almost everyday for the past 2 weeks it has started to rain as soon as I leave for work or for home. I will be dry all day, but damnit as soon as I step outside I feel drip, drip, drip. I'll try to remain positive today, but it is looking pretty bad out there. Only minor changes need to be made now. More links and stuff. Add some more pix and spice the page and blog up little bit. I really hope it is nice this weekend. 5/13/2008 Finally this thing is starting to come together. Please if anyone looks at this let me know if it looks like crap. Still need to add more links and clean up a little bit. Fix nav bar, but that is too much work for today. On the riding side. Some lady almost backed over me yesterday b/c she wasn't looking where she was going. But, I guess that was my fault? Tomorrow is bike to work day. Supposed to be 90 degrees. 5/12/2008 Time for some more updates. Can't quite make the page center, but don't feel like redesigning it again. Seems to be a little better by expanding the page to be larger vertically. Think I'll start to update the bio page now. Ok, bio page updated. Next the gallery page but that will have to wait for another day. Still need more links and figure out how to get the center area always be in the center. On a nondesign note I had a great 30 commute today. People still drive like assholes, but at least I was one less car today. 5/1/2008 Nothing too crazy today. Think it is time to start to get the other pages in order. Plus add some links. Learned how to create hover links. Pretty cool. This shit is hard, but one step at a time. 4/29/2008 I am trying this agains. I've tried to design this page entirely in css. It has been pretty hard, but it is starting to make a little sense. The links have to be re done, but one step at a time. Still to do. Add links, update all other pages, add to footer, make page look better. But I think that is good for tonight. 4/28/2008 Finally remembered how to padd this text from the edge. Does making a table work? Ok, that worked. Now the page is set for optimal viewing on a monitor 1024x768. How do I make it look better on all screens. It doesn't expand or contract as the window size changes. Today I got some links added. Made this my real homepage and finally got the text indent a little better. Next... add some more links. Update the other pages to the new css formate (which means creating a template). Pretty soon I'll be able to talk about stuff more interexting than this the development of the site. |
