Here are some great opportunities to learn and practice your Spanish . . .

Volunteer! Make friends! Reach out in your community. Hospitals, clinics, police, library, schools, universities, social service and community organizations all need help for their Spanish-speaking clients and students.

 Exchange! Offer to do an exchange with a native Spanish-speaking person---half the time in English and half the time in Spanish.   You both WIN big!

Read! Newspapers, magazines, books (especially kid's books!) Go online to www.amazon.com for a great selection of books in Spanish.

Watch Television! Cable has channels in Spanish with great Telenovelas (soap operas) and talk show programs as well as dubbed versions of your favorite programs. Commercials are fun too!

Rent Videos/DVDs! Of course rent them in Spanish!  Foreign movies are great! You can take advantage of the DVD special language features.

Listen to Radio, CDs, Tapes!  There are lots of radio stations in Spanish- check your local guide . . . or go online to www.amazon.com for a great selection of Spanish CDs and tapes.

Take a Class!  Take a Spanish class locally or check out my schedule for an Accelerated Spanish class .

Hire a Tutor!  Put a flyer up at your local college or university---foreign students love to earn extra money.

Travel!  Spain, Mexico, Central America, South America and for even that matter places closer such as NYC, Texas, Miami, New Mexico, California, etc. all offer a multitude of opportunities to practice and learn Spanish. Pack your bags NOW!
