Mike's Other interests.

Well, at this time, the brain cancer is under pretty good control. I have been through Brain Surgery, taken 6000 rads of radiation, two different types of Chemo, then more brain surgery to implant some wafers that bleed chemo drugs directly on the tumor site. It has been a tough year.
All and all, I am lucky to be alive and cogent. I am still as weak as a kitten, and I don't remember how to spell some words. These things are no big deal, time will heal them if I am given it.

Also, I am lucky to be working at The Evergreen State College. Many folks here gave unbelievable support in the form of shared leave, kind words and understanding. I would not have gotten this kind of support at any other place I have ever worked. M.S. 10-5-00
