Installing the Data Analysis Tool in Office 2007

 

Step one:
open Excel

Step two:
click the Office Button

Step three:
click the excel options

Step four:
click on the Add-ins tab

Step five:
choose the “Analysis Toolpak” from the Add-ins menu

Step six:
click the go button

Step seven:
check the “Analysis Toolpak” box and click “OK”

Step eight:
If the a pop-up box appears asking if you wish to install the “Analysis Toolpak” click YES and let Excel install the add-in.

Step nine:
after the installation completes, the “Data Analysis” tool should be under the “Data” tab
