Identify one item for each question unless otherwise specified

1.  An index that takes you forward and backward through “research time”!

2.  List Ten subjects in their call number order within the arts and humanities disciplines.  Find their shelf locations in reference.

3. The english language’s most prominent explanatory source.  Where did the words come from? Are there similar resources in other languages?

4. Show the class three books that list books from subjects in the Arts and Humanities.

5.  Who’s Who - where are the biographies (call numbers and shelf locations)

6. Who’s on first?  What is the general geographical order in parts of the collection where geography matters? (example: history)

7. Find primary documents in secondary sources

8.  What are the date ranges for Arts and Humanities periodical indexes?  (Compare Paper and digital).

9.  How good is a book?  Find two resources that tell you.

10. Where do librarians put their stuff? (general call number area)

11.  Where are all the critics?  The poets? The playwrites?

12.  Where are the Portraits by Botticelli, Rembrandt, Picasso, etc.

13. Musicians, Instruments, and songs?
