Association on gelatinous zooplankton was dedicated to Sir Frederick
Russell. He was Director of the Plymouth Laboratory of the Marine Biological
Association from 1945 to 1965 and a pioneer in the study of chaetognath ecology
(see Bone, Q. 1995. Foreward. Journal of the Marine Biological Association
of the United Kingdom. 85:
433).
