SHOPPING LIST FOR VIETNAM RECIPES

2 bunches of green onions
1⁄2 lb. spinach.
1⁄2 small red onion, finely chopped.
6 cloves garlic
3 stalks of lemongrass, finely chopped
Grains:
3 c. rice
Miscellaneous:
2 T oil (for frying)
2 T sugar
2 T roasted peanuts, finely chopped
2 T nuoc mam or fish sauce
salt
ground black pepper
12 rice sheets (bánh tráng).
rice noodles (bún)
1 jar of sweetened red bean “Hoisin” sauce (tuong)
2 T olive oil.
3 T dried shrimp.
2 cubes “Maggie” seasoning.
