Academics aren't necessarily supposed to "have lives" outside of academia. In fact, for many of us, what we do for fun is often reflected in our teaching and in other aspects of our work lives. I play a lot of music (fiddle and classical guitar), I sing songs from Ireland in Irish and English, and I even write some poetry. I have been very fortunate to spend time in places outside the U.S., and this page will get you to my travel blogs (and, eventually or as soon as I figure out how to do this, photographs).
